Aldi Food Market – Concord, NH

Aldi is set to open in a new project bounded by Loudon Road and Old Loudon Road, at a signalized intersection it shares with the regional Steeplegate Mall. Sharing an intersection with a regional draw such as the mall, with great access and co-tenant was a perfect opportunity for Aldi. Co-tenants in the new project now include Chipotle, Aspen Dental, AT&T, Vision Works, Elements Massage and more. Additional shop space will also be available next to Aldi.

Aldi Food Market is a global discount supermarket brand with over 10,000 locations in 18 countries. Based in Germany, the chain was founded by brothers Karl and Theo Albrecht in 1946. The Albrecht’s also own the ever popular Trader Joes supermarket brand, sister company to Aldi’s Food Market. Aldi’s currently operates more than 1,600 stores within the United States, with US headquarters in Batavia, Illinois. “Simply Smarter Shopping” is the Aldi’s mission. Well known for their in store efficiencies and best practices, Aldi’s is constantly innovating in order to provide their customers with great products at low prices. Aldi stores are typically 19,247 square feet, and the preference is to purchase or ground lease and build free standing stores to their exact specifications. They will also consider in-line deals with a preference for end cap space depending on the deal and market.
