Hardees, owned by CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Roark Capital Group, operates over 2,000 Hardees Restaurants primarily in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States. Founded in 1960 by Wilber Hardee in Greenville, North Carolina with a focus on serving high quality burgers, fries and milkshakes. They have since added breakfast, and are especially popular for their biscuits. After being out of the northeast for over two decades, Hardee’s is focusing its expansion in southern New England and is looking for land purchases or ground lease opportunities. They will also consider end caps with a drive thru and co-brand opportunities. Their buildings range from 2,500sf to 3,037 sf.
