REI (Recreational Equipment Incorporated) is a retail chain carrying gear, apparel & footwear for a wide range of outdoor & fitness activities. Structured as a cooperative, the 79 year old company is owned by its members who receive the benefit of a yearly dividend based on their purchases. REI’s goal is for people to experience and be stewards of the great outdoors. With over 145 stores, REI is located in most of the major markets of the US. New stores measure approximately 25,000sf on one level and REI will purchase, lease or enter build to suit opportunities and focuses on markets whose populations tend to be outdoor oriented.
