White Castle

White Castle is an American fast-food burger chain operating over 400 locations throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Founded in 1921 in Whichita Kansas by Billy Ingram and Walter Anderson, they are credited as being the first national burger chain in the United States. White Castle is still family owned and operated, and all locations are corporately owned. The first to sell one billion burgers, White Castle has an extremely loyal customer base and has a brand identity known throughout the country. Well known for their small, square hamburgers, or “sliders”, White Castle also serves milkshakes, onion rings, fries, chicken rings, mozzarella sticks, fish nibblers, and has a breakfast menu.
